This Selah CMG is a stunning example of what Cedar and Mugavu sound like together. The Cedar gives amazing clarity and ‘tinkle’ in the top end with a really full bottom end, while the Mugavu adds a nice boost to the mids, for a very satisfying and balanced playing experience. Whether you are strumming with a band or playing solo fingerstyle, this is a hard to beat combination. All fittings are Gabon Ebony.

The Broken Road inlays are assembled completely by hand in Uganda, one small brick of Ebony and/or cow bone at a time. The inlay was inspired by the town of Mpigi where the guitars are made, and represents the imperfect journey we all share together. While this inlay is incredibly labour intensive, it is creating valuable employment in a town with extremely high unemployment. Owning one of our beautiful guitars says as much about your discerning taste as it does about your desire to support these young men and women – working hard for a better future for their community.
